Live Web Demo: Pension

You can run the Pension application as an AJAX based example running on an IIS/Windows 2000 web server (click the 'AJAX deployment' image to run the demo).

The Pension demo helps the user decide whether a Stakeholder pension is suitable for them. The information that was used to create this application came from a booklet produced by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

When the demo is executed it will prompt the user with one question at a time following the logic contained in the decision trees shown above. The runtime will not ask unnecessary or repeated questions and will always produce the same conclusion for the same input. The user interface of this demo is essentially the default output from Knowledge Builder, it could easily have been modified to group sets of questions on the same page and/or improve the appearance of the page or controls.
